My recent stay at Hotel Lago Sarmiento in Puerto Natales was a pleasant experience overall. The location was convenient, near the water and the city center, making it easy to explore the area. The front desk staff was welcoming and always ready to assist with any requests, which was a nice touch. The rooms were spacious and clean, though a bit outdated. However, the breathtaking views of the lake and mountains from the living room areas made up for it.While the hotel offered a fantastic breakfast spread, the lack of modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi in rooms might deter some guests. The staff's attentiveness to guests' needs, such as providing ice packs for my mother's knee injury, was commendable.In terms of value, Hotel Lago Sarmiento offers a decent balance between cost and luxury. The friendly service and picturesque views make it a solid choice for travelers seeking a comfortable stay without breaking the bank.
